San Diego Humane Society sought an advanced digital experience to engage both patrons and staff, creating a more modern and efficient adoption center. GSL, leveraging Navori’s Professional software, seamlessly integrated the system with Shelter Buddy, enabling real-time information on animals available for adoption to be accessed across multiple platforms, including kiosks, wall-mounted displays, and tablets. This real-time data replaced outdated paper kennel cards, improving guest experience and facilitating faster animal adoptions.

Additionally, Navori’s Content Manager simplified content management for the Humane Society’s staff, allowing them to quickly update and synchronize content across multiple displays without needing advanced technical expertise. The system’s ability to manage both Windows-based and Android media players ensured cross-platform compatibility, streamlining operations.

What are the benefits of now having this solution deployed in their facility.

KVD: Guests are able to find basic information on their own while using the kiosks and digital kennel cards. This interactive tool gives them something to do while they wait to meet with an Adoption Counselor.

KVD: Our guests enjoy using the kiosks and digital kennel cards. This gives folks the ability to see all relevant information on an animal in real-time and they have the option to look through multiple photos. 

What made you want to get started with/deploy these digital experience?

KVD: In the past we used paper kennel cards which would become outdated almost as quickly as they were printed and placed on the kennel. These would get dirty, wet, crinkled and removed by guests. The digital version is not only visually appealing, but also functional and improved the guest experience.

The Humane Society adopted Navori’s STiX media players for content playback, ensuring exceptional video quality and streamlined technical architecture.
